Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith:  Mr. Kornblum is a leading expert in the field of Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith.  He has handled hundreds of cases in the area of commercial and personal insurance lines, including comprehensive commercial policies,  with liability and property claims, business interruption and other coverages.  He has also handled many cases involving personal insurance coverage, such as auto liability and homeowners coverage.  Mr. Kornblum has lectured extensively on insurance coverage and insurance bad faith over his 40 year career, and has co-authored two books on the subject.  He was one of the first acknowledged specialists in the field in California.  He is also a noted author of articles on this topic, and has qualified as an expert witness in the state and federal courts on insurance coverage and bad faith issues.

Life, Health and Disability Litigation:  As part of its insurance litigation portfolio, our firm handles all forms of life, health and disability litigation.  Mr. Kornblum has considerable expertise in the litigation of long term disability claims, which he has handled since the mid-60’s. He tried the first bad faith case involving a long term disability claim in California.

Elder Abuse: Nothing is more tragic than the financial, physical or emotional abuse of our seniors. These are special claims with special rules. We know how to represent senior claimants in these cases.

Appeals and Writs:  Here we have many years experience with our Special Counsel, Mukesh Advani, a recognized appellate specialist.  Mr. Kornblum has also handled appeals in his own case since he began private practice and has argued over 50 appeals with several important published opinions.  He has argued to the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, and all Districts of the California Courts of Appeal, and has appeared before the California Supreme Court on a special matter.
